Tips to write a good Literature Review:

1. Choose your sources wisely: you may use articles, books or other sources, which are related to your topic. It is essential to choose current studies, not those belonging to ice age!

2. Manage your sources: the number of sources for literature review can be a real problem, unless you manage them correctly. One of the possible ways is arranging your sources into tables with citation and brief information about each source.


3. Use Evidence: in any part of a research paper, you should validate your information by offering various sources.

4. Use your own words: although it is not easy to rewrite other people’s thoughts and ideas, avoiding unnecessary quotations not only improves the overall quality of your work, but also saves you from plagiarism tests!

5. Express your ideas: don’t forget that the whole purpose of doing literature review is not simply expressing what other people have done or not. In the whole research you should be the center of focus by expressing your own ideas and words about each of the sources.

6. Don’t change: be ware of not changing sources information and findings either unexpectedly or expectedly!

7. Revise, edit, and revise: the key is reading again and again. You can ask other people to read your writing as well. Sometimes you are so involved that can’t see the deficiencies.
